Correct Solution

The correct key move 1. Qa5

The theme of this problem is "interference". After the key move, there are fifteen possible moves by black, eight of which interfere with another black piece's protection of a mating square.

For example:
1. ... R-d6 or R-e7 interferes with the black bishop's ability to move to c5 and allows Q-b6++
