Chess Problem 003 Find the Mate in 2.
Correct Solution The correct key move 1. Qh7 The mating moves which follows every black move but one are easy
to find. The one tricky one follows 1...Rxf8. The mating move after
that is 2. g8=N dicovering mate by the queen, with the f6 square
guarded by the knight, which in turn is guarded by the knight on
e7.
